I went to Doctor Abbasi after going to physical therapy for 30 sessions for a medial meniscus tear. The physical therapy definitely helped build strength but still had reduced range of motion and pain for my sport activity which is dancing (ballet, jazz). I wanted to give physical therapy a chance before considering PRP. After speaking with Dr Abbasi who is expertly knowledgeable, I decided to do my first round of PRP. It truly was a breeze, thanks to his medical assistants Karla and Kayla who assisted. Doctor Abassi is a pro at doing PRP. For me, it was as easy as getting a flu shot.. I went back a month later for follow up and concluded my improvement was about 50 to 60% better for pain and overall mobility. I can now sit down in a squat position with both knees to put on my dog’s leash as well as do some yoga movements which I could not do before like a yogi squat. I also have more mobility in my affected knee during dance classes. Dr. Abassi explained that a second round of PRP would likely benefit based on the many patients he has seen and also his own personal experience with PRP. Although there are no guarantees, I feel that it’s worth it in the long run for my quality of life and being able to continue my passion for dance In my retirement. I had my second PRP today and hoping for even more improvement. The office is impeccable and the staff caring and competent. Worth looking into especially if your injury is holding you back from what you love to do or affecting daily routine.

Orthopedic care for injuries from accidents and the workplace, with thorough documentation for your case.
Accident & Work Injury Treatment
An injury from an accident or at work brings two problems: the injury itself, and the claims process that follows it. At PRIME Orthopedics & Regenerative Center, Dr. Abbasi, board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, evaluates and treats the injury, from conservative care through surgery. Each visit is documented with the findings and the reasoning set out, so your records are ready when your attorney or adjuster asks for them.

Treatment Options
Working With Your Attorney or Adjuster
Ask About a ConsultationThe practice treats you; it does not represent you and takes no position on your case. Records go to whoever you authorize, on request, and if you have an attorney, the practice works with them directly so you are not left relaying messages. You do not need an attorney to be seen. Attorneys referring a client can find information on our personal injury and workers' compensation pages.
What Brings People In
Ask About a Consultation- A car accident, and a knee or shoulder that has hurt ever since.
- A fall from a ladder or on a wet floor at work.
- A lift at work you have done many times before, and this time something gave.
- A slip, a trip or a fall on someone else's property.
- Pain that has not settled in the weeks since an accident.
- An adjuster or case manager asking for records you do not yet have.
Common Questions
Do I need an attorney to be seen?
No. The practice treats the injury. Whether you involve an attorney is your decision, and it does not change your care.
I was injured at work. Do I go through my employer?
Workers' compensation claims usually run through your employer's insurance carrier, which often directs early care. Call the office with your claim details, and our staff will explain what applies.
Will I need surgery?
Not necessarily. Treatment begins with the most conservative appropriate option, and surgery is recommended only when it is needed.
Can you send my records to my attorney?
Yes, on request and with your authorization. Each visit is documented with the findings and the reasoning set out.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring any imaging you have, the accident or incident report if there is one, and your claim details.
How soon can I be seen?
Call the office, and our staff will arrange the earliest available appointment.
