I went to Doctor Abbasi after going to physical therapy for 30 sessions for a medial meniscus tear. The physical therapy definitely helped build strength but still had reduced range of motion and pain for my sport activity which is dancing (ballet, jazz). I wanted to give physical therapy a chance before considering PRP. After speaking with Dr Abbasi who is expertly knowledgeable, I decided to do my first round of PRP. It truly was a breeze, thanks to his medical assistants Karla and Kayla who assisted. Doctor Abassi is a pro at doing PRP. For me, it was as easy as getting a flu shot.. I went back a month later for follow up and concluded my improvement was about 50 to 60% better for pain and overall mobility. I can now sit down in a squat position with both knees to put on my dog’s leash as well as do some yoga movements which I could not do before like a yogi squat. I also have more mobility in my affected knee during dance classes. Dr. Abassi explained that a second round of PRP would likely benefit based on the many patients he has seen and also his own personal experience with PRP. Although there are no guarantees, I feel that it’s worth it in the long run for my quality of life and being able to continue my passion for dance In my retirement. I had my second PRP today and hoping for even more improvement. The office is impeccable and the staff caring and competent. Worth looking into especially if your injury is holding you back from what you love to do or affecting daily routine.

Exosome Therapy
Microscopic vesicles that carry signals between cells, designed to support the body's natural healing.
Exosome Therapy for Orthopedic Care
Exosome therapy is a non-surgical treatment performed in the office. Exosomes are microscopic vesicles released by cells, carrying proteins and signaling molecules from one cell to another. The preparation is donor-derived, and Dr. Abbasi administers it at the site of the injury.
You don't need to travel to Colombia or Mexico for world-class exosome therapy when it's available here in Delray Beach.

Understanding Exosomes
Ask About a ConsultationExosomes are released by nearly every cell in the body. They carry proteins, lipids and genetic material from one cell to another, and are one of the ways cells signal to each other. The preparation used here combines exosomes with cells and extracellular matrix, the natural framework that surrounds cells in the body's tissues. It is supplied ready for use, so no tissue is collected from you and no processing time is required. Dr. Abbasi administers the injection in the office during a single appointment.
Common Questions
Is this made from my own cells?
No. The preparation is donor-derived and produced by an outside supplier. PRP and bone marrow concentrate are the options made from your own blood or bone marrow, in the office.
How is exosome therapy different from stem cell therapy?
Exosomes are not cells. They are microscopic vesicles that cells release to communicate with one another. The preparation used here contains exosomes together with cells and extracellular matrix. Your examination helps determine which option, if any, is appropriate.
How is exosome therapy different from PRP?
PRP is prepared from your own blood and uses platelets. Exosome therapy uses a donor-derived preparation, so nothing is collected from you. Your examination helps determine which option, if either, is appropriate.
Does the procedure hurt?
The injection is brief, and because the preparation is donor-derived, there is no collection step. Afterward, you walk out of the office.
Can I drive home afterward?
Most patients can. If your specific procedure calls for another arrangement, the office will tell you in advance.
Is this an alternative to surgery?
Sometimes. For some patients, an injection is reasonable to consider before surgery; for others, surgery remains the better option. The consultation is designed to weigh the full range of orthopedic care.
